Balázs ' s and Dániel P. Szabó ' s duo played an intimate athmosphere concert in Székesfehérvár which was the last show of the Advent Concert Series organized by the Deák Gallery. György Kiss took photos during the event.

Balázs has just arrived home after a two weeks tour with the Eastern Boundary Quartet, playing at the most known jazz venues in Western Europe including the Jazz Studio Nurnberg, Europe' s oldest jazz club which was founded in 1954.
Their concert at the legendary De Werf in Brugge, Belgium was recorded and hopefully a new live album will be released in 2012 inculding this music.

With the folk-rock/world music band the MagyarVista Social Club, Balázs performed at "Királyi Napok" Festival in Szekesfehervar. About a thousand people were listening to their music at the city' s main square.

Balazs with Daniel P.Szabo performed at the International Bookfest in Bucharest representing Hungary during their Romanian tour sponsored by the Hungarian Cultural Institute.
Their concert in Sfantu Gheorghe was video taped and most of the songs are available to watch on Youtube. To check out those videos click here.
Balazs and the Collaboration Trio featuring guitarist Eric Essix played a concert at the Contemporary Arts festival in Szekesfehervar and on the Szeged' s Day Festival as well.

As an endorser of Agean Cymbals Balázs was playing at the booth of the company on the International Music Fair in Frankfurt. Here he had also met and talked to Roy Burns, founder and owner of the Aquarian Company, whose drumheads he has been using for several years ago. Pictures about the event:

Balázs was reelected for two more years as board member of the Hungarian Jazz Federation on the general assembly of the organization.

Rehearsals of last year release Lili's Songs has started for CD promotional concert performed by the MagyarVista Social Club featuring the Balázs Bágyi Quartet.
